Ila App - The first fully digital bank in Bahrain
Ila is a digital, mobile fully digital bank build around user needs and aspirations.
In 2020 I had the opportunity to work fully remotely for a Bahrain brand
(spin-off product of ABC bank) to solve the credit card flow ordering flow for users
and to create a brand new dedicated design system.
My project responsabilities
Quantitative reserach, persona creation, customer user journey, stakeholder's management,
workshops creation, clickable prototyping, design system Figma creation, dev-track
management, UI design support.

Challenges and contributions
I joined the team as a UX and Visual Designer at the
beginning of 2020.
The first challenge I faced was to introduce a new way of working and run design activies, such as 'Ideation workshops' whilst using Miro as a tool to drive digital collaboration.I introduced a new design process to the team and promoted co-creation design thinking sessions to solve business - and design problems.

The qualitative research, and a survey creation led us to the creation of three major personas. Here below the example
of Ahman, main persona created to drive the user journey and the prototype needed to co-create a solution together with
the team stakeholders and product owner for the credit card feature of Ila.

The design system and Figma migration
Part of my responsibilities was to improve and scale the design system and migrate
it from Sketch to Figma when the client adopted the new software.
