Together Alone Apart is my photographic exploration of the paradoxes of modern human connection across continents and cultures.
Drawn from a decade living away from home, the project captures moments where people are simultaneously close and distant, visible yet overlooked, connected yet alone. The imagery reveals the subtle solitude that persists even in shared spaces and the similar visual patterns that these connections and disconnection create across different locations.
Why
Together Alone, Apart is my project zero, the convergence of my background as a designer and my photographic exploration of composition, light, and human presence, conceived as a first book and a starting point for a broader journey that will grow into exhibitions and shared stories across cities, inviting people to reflect on togetherness and loneliness through images, voices, and lived experience
